Description
This wayside equipment for rail ITS element provides for train interface equipment (usually) maintained and operated by the railroad and (usually) physically located at or near a grade crossing that relays HRI information for, or about, approaching trains and their crews. Communication to the equipment uses either the City's fiber optic system or microwave radio system.
